The D.A.R.E. instructors are carefully selected, thoroughly trained, uniformed law enforcement officers dedicated to the D.A.R.E. objectives. The D.A.R.E. curriculum focuses on providing kids with the following:

  • Skills for recognizing and resisting pressure to experiment with tobacco, alcohol and drugs.

  • Enhanced self-esteem.

  • Positive alternatives to substance use.

  • Risk management and decision-making skills.

  • Improved interpersonal and communication skills.
